Default New Here and Wanted to Confirm a couple questions
Hello All,

First off I would like to say that I have been coming here for quite some time and this place is very informative. Everyone seems to be nice and very helpful.

Now to the question. I have searched the forums and think I have found my answer. But I just wanted to confirm it for sure.

Is it true that the PS3 80Gig will automatically decode the Dolby True HD?


Right now I have the PS3 80gig with the 2.20 firmware. Getting ready to do the 2.30 tonite. Right now I have the PS3 hooked up to a Bose Lifestyle 48. But I am getting ready to get a whole new system with a Onkyo 605. I know that the new firmware 2.30 has the DTS HD MA. just didnt know if the PS3 could always decode the Dolby True HD.

Also is it true that the only way to get Dolby TrueHD and DTS HD MA is through a HDMI 1.3 connection?
