It is a shame that they didn't get it right in the first place, i.e. 1080p instead of 1080i. Perhaps they thought about the camera and related technology limitations of that time to do 1080p. However, Shakira is in 1080p.

Can't believe people would complain over a 1080i concert when it looks this good. I would be willing to bet if you told people it was 1080p and they looked at it they couldn't tell a difference at all.
