Question RE: Dualshock 3 and a UK PS3

Hi all

I know it's always questions with me

I've got my eye on purchasing a couple of Dualshock 3 controllers for me and my Brother.

All I really want to know is seeing as there is no European Dualshock 3 on the market yet, will i be able to use controllers from another country?

Hey bud,

Yep - got mine from a certain online market place in Australia - £30 delivered (goods came from Hong Kong though?!?) and it works a treat. You'll wonder how you did without rumbling around Paradise City (Or whatever it is you play!!)

They should work, but I don't have one myself so couldn't say for certain. I'm going to wait for the official UK release myself as I don't want to pay the import charges I'd probably get hammered with (unless you can find one for less than £18 shipped which is highly unlikely).

I gotta say though I agree with AikonEnt. I've just been looking at the costs of importing it and they're ridiculous. So I'm gonna hold off now until we get it over here officially.

If I could find it cheaper I'd get one but I just can't find one at a reasonable price, or reasonable to me at least

I bought mine from CD wow, took ages to arrive, but works fine with my uk 60gb PS3, doesn't work with all games tho!

Got mine from a seller on Amazon. £35 inc P&P which is the same price as a normal sixaxis from some places. Works fine.

Dual Shock 3 controllers are region free. Lots of people imported the Japanese ones when they went on the market, and they all work.

Honestly dk3dknight. I'm not willing to pay more than £30 for any controller... I don't care what it can do, it could have an additional laser cutting device built in and I wouldn't pay more than £30 for it.

So there you go, that is MY reasonable price.
