Default Longest Closing Credit Sequences

This may be seen by some as a pointless topic but I find it fascinating anyway.

Earlier, I was watching A Bronx Tale and noticed that the end credits run almost nine minutes (which is especially impressive for a 1993 release). Along with the opening credit sequence running over seven minutes, that is about 16 minutes of credits in a 121 minute film.

Along with the usual suspects (Superman, Independence Day, the Lord of the Rings trilogy), what are some other long credit sequences that stand out?

I have not seen it but I assume that Cleopatra would have really long credits.

Where did you ask for that?

I remember The Incredibles having quite a lengthy credit sequence, but I tend not to sit through the credits to often.

I saw Dead Man's Chest at the theater and knew there was something at the end. We waited and waited and waited. The end credits seemed to go on forever. Then the final shot sucked.

A lot of shitty DTV horror films and such have rather long credit sequences, due to their preposterous slowness. This is presumably done so the film reaches the 90 minute mark.

My extensive scientific research has proven that, for the comic book superhero movies that promise an extra scene after the closing credits, the length of time that one has to sit waiting through the closing credits is inversely proportional to the quality of the extra scene.

The matrix reloaded had 11 minutes of credits prior to a preview of the matrix revolutions, sometimes the wait isn't worth it

movies have closing credits?

seriously, the original Star Wars trilogy has pretty long credits now that they have to credit all the original people as well as those who worked on the special editions. I can't remember if they streamlined it for bluray into one set or not but I do remember you saw the original credits and then a bunch extra after that. don't know if they are as long as some of the movies mentioned but they are long.
