I noticed that the Live At First Jason is an Easter egg on the bonus disc, but it also plays at the end if you select "Play All". I also found it as an egg on Disc 1 of the DVD, but haven't found it on the Blu-ray. Anyone found it on the Blu-ray? I have the bonus disc, so I'm not worried, but anyone who doesn't have the bonus disc and wants to sell/give away their DVDs would not have the egg. Not that it's particularly exciting, but I know there are a lot of completists out there...

I'm certainly anticipating it... I just started watching the doc today and I'm enjoying it a great deal...

Do they even have Easter Eggs on Blu-Ray discs? I don't think I've ever come across a disc that did. And I thought that they had stopped including them on DVD's. Been so long since I've seen a DVD with one.

I called in to work to watch the first half.

I am almost done with PART II.

I never knew that Bev, the Grandma on Roseanne, was the original Mrs. Voorhees. I think far less of Gene Siskel for being such a hater he put Betsy Palmer's home address in his review. What a douche move!

I have seen at least one friend so far in the convention photos they keep using.

I was kind of bummed that Kristen Baker and Marta Kober didn't do this. But then they are uber hard to meet at conventions. Kober only did the one.

I too am blown away by how slick it looks and how much other copyrighted material they got the rights for. Makes for a better flow seeing other franchises, or other things the actors have done.

I promised to only watch the first disc today, but it's gonna be tempting not to put that second one in.

Anyone have any idea how to get Letterboxd.com to add this film so I can add it when I'm done???

Mine just came today from Family Video. Can't believe it. I figured paying $18.98 that I'd be lucky to see this arrive before Haloween. Alright Family Video!

Didn't they at one point claim that this wouldn't be available elsewhere (aka other than through them or at the DD signing) until October 8th? It's apparently available at all e-tailers.

I don't think it's standard like it used to be, but I have a few Blu-rays with Easter eggs. The only one that comes to mind right now is Game of Thrones Season One, but I'm pretty sure I have a few others. And that feature on CLM is definitely an egg on the DVD, so I can't see why they wouldn't include it on the Blu-ray as well.

Never mind bluray, I haven't really come across easter eggs in DVD even since they were first released really and it was kind of a novelty to find them. Last bunch I really remember is on some of the Star Trek season sets, especially Voyager.....that set is full of them. Have to go back and check out The Fog one....thanks for the heads up.

I still have fond memories of finding the easter egg on Gremlins 2, the one with the VHS edit.

i always wished they would have done a DVD version of the intermission scene. but yeah i remember being pleased they at least included the VHS one. i still remember seeing that movie in theaters and we all really thought something happened to the film. and when the gremlin silhouettes appeared, most of us turned back to look at the projector. figured it was some theater stunt with puppets or something. lol

Just continuing on with tradition. There are a lot of typos and formatting issues in the Crystal Lake Memories book, as well (still love the book, though).

Finished watching the first disc almost straight through (took a break for dinner). Pretty good. Not quite as interesting or well put together as Never Sleep Again (really miss the clever and funny little intros to each chapter that NSA had), but if you're a fan of the series you're gonna like it.

I think one reason the Friday doc isn't quite as good as the Nightmare doc, despite my favoring Friday the 13th as a series, is because the Friday series doesn't have many recurring actors, directors, etc. The one director who came back twice isn't even interviewed for some reason (I'm sure they tried to get him, but maybe he's being a prude, or something). And there's nothing as absolutely HILARIOUS as the Nightmare 2 section of Never Sleep Again.

Sure is PAINFUL to see all the effort they made to create the awesome 3D FX in Part III only to have the blu-ray come out with the fake 3D. Shame on you, Warner Bros.

Outside. But it fits perfectly if you keep it in the sleeve and put it where they used to put booklets and chapter info. before companies decided interesting stuff like liner notes, booklets and chapter info. wasn't worth the couple of cents to include (companies other than the wonderful Criterion).

For some reason, Steve Miner no longer talks about his Friday films. I'm sure someone knows why. Not prudishness, but bitterness, I believe.

You have to register for http://www.themoviedb.org and enter it yourself. Letterboxd pulls all of its data from the entries on that site.

Lucky for you, I've just done it.

I just put the bonus dvd in one of the regular dvd slots and moved that dvd to the back of the box where there is kind of a holder for one without the center clip. Seems to fit pretty good and doesn't move around when closed.

I'll have to keep my eyes open in that case. The only Scream Factory Blu's I have right now are Halloween 2 and 3 but most of their catalog is on my "To-Buy List". How do you find Easter Eggs on Blu-Ray's anways? On DVD's it was simple cause the options/selections were all listed on screen, but on Blu-Ray's all that is on pop-up/slide-out menus.

No, there was an easter egg on the special features menu for the Blu-Ray of The Howling, which was out before The Fog.

I was kind of wondering why they included the dvd version of this with the blu ray instead of just selling the dvd's separately. I myself like having them, as I like to sometime watch documentaries on the computer, but thought it was a little weird to do that for this.
