Hi all....have never ordered from Kimchi before, but would love to have this...I am in the US. The website looks pretty suspect (or maybe just not user friendly) but is it safe to use credit card on this website? Is this a big reliable retailer?

I've always used PayPal and haven't had any problems so far. Can't comment on how Credit Cards work there.

I have used CC many times, Kimchi are at smaller end of retailers, very good service, no problems, recommended.

It's 1/4 of a slipcover at the bottom of the steelbook. Helps to prevent the steelbook from damage when placed near other steelbooks but doesn't cover up most of the steelbook, unlike the lenticular slipcover.

Gotcha. seems strange that they printed 700 of these, 1300 of the lent. covers, but only 1000 of the ones w/o slips. This would be my biggest purchase yet, but it is Disney ...

I had to just keep trying a few times. Try closing your browser and coming back to the page. It was a bit rough for me too.

I'm assuming they will ship everything in one shipment? I ask because, in addition, to the 2 lent-steels, I also ordered the Sin City digipak...and they only gave me one shipping quote(over, what I perceived as 3 different shipping vendors)?

Only ever used JSDVD for Asian steels and they take payment instantly for pre-orders

Looks like they charge right away, has I've got a "pending payment" for the entire amount on my card from the order I made yesterday.

Yep they do. I believe they do it for all payment types. Kimchi I usually pay with paypal, zavvi I use a card. If you pay with paypal at zavvi and then either you don't have the funds or want to change it to a card you have to cancel the order. If you at least use a card at zavvi you sometimes have enough time to change the card and you sometimes get to keep your order.

Oh I know! I went through the whole "payment source not working" nonsense with Zavvi for my IM3 order. Thankfully I got it resolved, and got a £5 credit...which was kind of interesting, Zavvi just credited my card directly as opposed to knocking it off an order. Hey it's all "coin of the realm" I suppose.

Now I just need KimchiDVD to NOT release any more kick ass exclusives in 2013. At least over the next 7 weeks which is going to be a brutal stretch for me!

Leon the Professional is on the nearby horizon. Kimchi is going to setup a poll on HDN for members to choose the art.
