Also glad a female Jedi will play a prominent role. Following the OG trilogy story line and the whole "Luke is our last hope... no, there is another" feels like we've been teased about female Jedi for a long time. Technically we've seen female Jedi but never as a main character.

Ah I'm just so excited. Saw the OG trilogy again the last few days. Dad had only watched the first Star Wars when he was 10. Thought it'd be a good idea to show him the next two.

they need to finish the Jar Jar Binks story. Was there any main character in the original trilogy that disappeared in the following films? I dont think there were any.

It was concluded (in my mind). Ignore all the books etc. After watching Revenge of the Sith you just move right on to A New Hope and imagine that Jar Jar has taken up residence on Alderaan...

In the last round of changes for the Blu-ray if you listen really closely you can hear that George Lucas added in a "Meeeeeesa?" very quietly as the planet explodes.

Works for me.

Perhaps he continued to serve in the senate until the Emperor disbanded it in A New Hope, and then he retired back to Naboo, or he went to help with the Rebel Forces.

Actually, the Emporers first order was for Jar Jar to be killed and served up for dinner to celebrate the birth of the first galactic empire. It was like having fish and duck at the same time.

This is true. The Emperor is racist and wished for a human-only galaxy. No doubt the first non-humans to be executed were those on the Galactic Senate.
