Off the subject but is there a thread of online retailers?
I have about four that i check in the USA before i buy online but would be nice to see a list of different vendors. I have done a search on this site but see nothing like what i am looking for in the forum or glossary.

lol sorry had to razz you up a little... and technically to WB, BD is the problem, to me there is no real advantage but I still prefer hd dvd. content is key.

Many wouldnt agree... guees I should re-phrase, "GOOD" content is key. And then it would come down to "taste" as many fanboys call it, if "better pq" = tons of grain and noise because the director has a "taste" for it, then you can have it.

as for SQ, I dont care to notice a small difference and dont have a system setup (like to be good apt neighbors), so I couldnt argue which is better and either could anyone who doesnt own both formats....

Besides how do you like buying electronics that are obsolete before they hit the shelves?

Anyways, I have plans of getting the BLU-RAY version probably next month after the next paycheck comes through.

Before I came over to the "dark side", I ordered PE on HD-DVD. Got it in today. However, it was free.

Don't ask.

So, I think I will order PE on BD in the next few days as well. Keep both copies unopened and see who wins. The winner will be opened, the looser will be sold.

Then I can finally buy an HD player.

This is a no-brainer must-have for anyone's collection. Buy it now. I have the David Attenborough edition, but both are good.

Agreed. This is such a good collection. I also have the Attenborough version, which I have heard is the better of the two. I bought this combined with Earth: The Biography in a set for $50 about a year ago.
