Default [PS4/PS3/PS Vita/Xbox One/Wii U/iOS/Android]WonderFlick from Level-5

Quote:
WonderFlick is one of Level-5's major projects. Akihiko Hino is designing the title with Final Fantasy XII artist Nao Ikeda and Final Fantasy composer Nobuo Uematsu.

WonderFlick will be released for iPhone, Android, Wii U, PS3, Vita, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One. Each system will have an exclusive WonderFlick dungeon.

WonderFlick also marks Level-5′s return to Microsoft. The two companies worked together to develop True Fantasy Live Online, but after the game was canceled the relationship between the two companies soured. Seeing Level-5 working with Microsoft again is quite a surprise, even if WonderFlick is released everywhere.

The PlayStation 4 version will allow players to use a smartphone or a tablet as a second screen to play the game. The Xbox One version supports SmartGlass. Save data for WonderFlick can be shared between different versions of the game.

WonderFlick launches in November on iOS and Android. Service for PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Vita, Wii U, and Xbox One will start in 2014.

Level 5 are working on a brand new cross-platform RPG titled WonderFlick, for PlayStation 3, Wii U, Xbox One, PlayStation 4, Vita, iOS and Android. The game will have an exclusive dungeon on each platform, and features Nobuo Uematsu as its composer.

WonderFlick will incorporate a second screen. On the PS4, this will be done via smartphones and tablets. On Xbox One, Level 5 will use SmartGlass.

I think Level-5 may have just set a new record for making me the least excited about an RPG ever. Releasing on Android and iPhone was a good start, but then this:

Yah ok. I'm out. Zero interest.

I'll stick with Ni no Kuni. That dragon in the video even looked like a draggle lol.

I like Level 5, but ... not like this.

The gameplay looks very bad. Flicking icons on a screen to do combat? Sigh.

Fantastic music (of course, it's Uematsu...), but those character designs are tacky and cliche.

They lost me as a customer at the second screen and absolutely terrible battle system as well.

Unless it's the 2 White Knight Chronicles games plus 1 PSP prequel game. Though not sure if they actually did the prequel game or not. Could have had someone else handle it.

Don't know why there are Level-5 games released in Europe but not America. There's also Level-5 titles that don't get localized at all.
