Avengers movies in order;
Hulk (6/03)
Iron Man (5/08)
The Incredible Hulk (6/08)
Iron Man 2 (5/10)
Thor (5/11)
Captain America (7/11)
The Avengers (5/12)
Iron Man 3 (5/13)
Thor: The Dark World (11/13)
Captain America:The Winter Soldier (4/14)

Iron Man started it all, so Hulk isn't canon. Not sure about the dates. And, Guardians of the Galaxy should be right before Avengers 2 and Ant-Man right after. Other then that yeah. We don't know officially the other ones in phase3 yet.

Banner references destroying Harlem in The Avengers so I consider it canon.

The Incredible Hulk is canon, he's refering to the 2003 film though, which isn't.

It's not part of the Avengers universe/storyline. If you just wanted to include movies featuring characters from The Avengers, then sure you could add the 2003 Hulk. You could also add the 1990 version of Captain America

This reply answers the thread starters question entirely, so thanks (For Like the 50 millionth time MifuneFan/I think mod too! ) .....Hence I will go ahead and switch Hulk back to 'Hulk' as far as my collection order alphabetizing goes. So its Avengers Assemble followed by Iron Man 3 rather then Hulk, Avengers Assemble, Iron Man 3.

Thanks a bunch to everyone who replied!

If you guys download the Avengers Second Screen app, you can see the entire Marvel Universe in timeline order. It's super neat.

Nope just the order I put the movies in but if the order in which they were created is what your asking then I can help with that as well

Captain America (First Appearance: Captain America Comics #1, March 1941)
Hulk (First Appearance: The Incredible Hulk #1, May 1962)
Thor (First Appearance: Journey into Mystery #83, August 1962)
Iron Man (First Appearance: Tales of Suspense #39, March 1963)
The Avengers (First Appearance: The Avengers #1, September 1963)

Canon means the story is official and take place in the main universe the franchise is based in.
