Sure. However, when I say Blu-Ray diodes were a supply constraint, I mean that in the first 6 months the PS3 had just barely launched in Europe, and even more barely in markets like Russia and India. You can't just dismiss that as insignificant.

I am not denying the Wii U supply more than out weighs its demand, but let's see how the sales of the device perform these next 6 months now that titles are coming out.
I'm not the one who brought up the first 6 month sales while calling people "fanboys".

Lego City Undercover was one of this years finest games for the youngish set. I think you can consider that one more Nintendo exclusive franchise. And if they keep it up -- making all non-licenses original Lego games Nintendo only, that will power quite a few sales of the Wii U.

We'll see what happens with next year's Lego Movie. If that's a Wii U exclusive, then look out.

The Wii U needs the games, and it's getting them soon. Once we have Mario, Zelda, SMASH BROS., Mario Kart, and even Donkey Kong on shelves, sales will inevitably go up significantly. Once that happens the 3rd party developers will quit being chicken s&@!s and start taking the console more seriously. It will happen.

And yes, I'm a multi-console owner who plans to own a PS4 within a year of its release. Although, frankly, there are probably more games coming out on the Wii U that have my interest more, which is why I'll be waiting. Hell, Smash Bros. alone trumps almost anything coming out within the next year.
Guess you haven't taken a look at Nintendo's stock price of late. The company is not doing fine at all. It's down 77% in 5 years. By comparison Sony is down 35% in that span.

Lego City Undercover is actually a really good game. If more developers tried as hard to make a solid game like this for the Wii U, Nintendo would be doing a lot better by now. I mostly blame 3rd Party developers for being lazy cowards and for putting ALL the weight on Nintendo.

And yet Nintendo still isn't too worried. You think they're going to quit? You think with the game lineup coming from them in the near future that they're going anywhere? You're foolish if you do.

What do you expect them to do publicly, throw up their hands and say "we give up, we're doomed"? Nah, Nintendo will survive. They'll just limp along in mediocrity.

Actually both are in trouble. But Nintendo is in much worse shape. The company is worth less than 1/4th of what it was 5 years ago.

I'm not gonna jump ship just yet.

There is a lot of potential First Party Nintendo Games that are on the way.

all the Japanese giants are these days, just saying that the those sites just bang on about how Nintendo is doing and skip over that sony not doing much better.

I don't understand why any one would think it be good for either one to go under,

Silly tribalism is the only possible unless someone is employed and/or otherwise heavily invested in either of these companies. I enjoy good gaming and have no regrets with the Wii U.

So after much debate I'm going to go into Gamestop to cancel my preorder. I'm not doing it because I dislike Nintendo. I actually really want to play Bayonetta 2, Wonderful 101, and the incoming classic first party titles. My dilemna is that after going through a week at my new job, I simply don't have the free time to be gaming, and dropping $300 on a second console I will be barely playing is not a good investment.

I'm in my last year college balancing school, work, and an internship. So I'm going to have to back out on getting one for now. Maybe next summer when I have graduated will be the time to get it.

Yeah Wind Waker HD is awesome. I really think every complaint I had about the original was addressed. The first time I started that up, I was so impressed at how good it looked.

The most common complaint many had (and I know I did) was that sailing was annoying and playing the stupid wind-flute song every 3 minutes was obnoxious.

Did they actually address that? If so, how?

Sailing as been addressed with the swift sail, you never have to set the direction of the wind, which is awesome. You can get the swift sail very early in the game and sailing is twice as fast as well. Everything about the game is more fluid and smooth. Even things no articles mention, you will just notice these little changes that make it so much better of an experience.

They added a Swift Sail you can buy at the action house that eliminates the need to change the wind.

Of course, you can just keep the original sail if you really want to.
