With some room EQ software. Some people download REW from home theater shack I think, and use a calibrated mic which is about $100, but there is a learning curve with REW. I think you can also but a Dayton Omni Mic from parts express too, but that runs about $300, but that is easier to use. I haven't tried either but am thinking about buying the Omni Mic.

I think i might try and work my paradigm pw 2200 into the mix. Up front behind my equipment. That will hopefully bring the nulls to a minimum.

I've seen his posts at the other PSA thread
He is very excited as are the other guys who have been waiting for the Triax to start shipping. It will be soon.

I know what they are going through, I also had to wait on the Pre-order XS30 build.

I am anxiously awaiting my Triax sub. Times have been pretty bad for me for the past few years.... I am hoping this is the start of some good luck. The Triax will be a upgrade from a old KLH sub that I have had for about ten years. This will be my first REAL sub, and I can't thank PSA enough for giving it to me.

Very nice and congratulations. With a Triax, the KLH is NOOOO comparison.

Thanks for the congrats... Yeah even when I had 5 of the KLH subs they wouldn't hold a candle to what I think the Triax will do.

I'd say the Triax will be equal to about 1.5 to 2 of those subs. Well, that is until you plug the Triax into the wall outlet..

Tough to extrapolate as there is no real data on the klh stuff. But you will be looking at around 32-48 of them best I can figure. (output averaged from 15-100hz).

And don't worry about your system becoming a "one note bass-boom box" like those rattle-traps we sometimes sit next to at a stop light. Once you have everything calibrated the bass should never overwhelm the rest of the system. You will just experience nice, dynamic bass.

Thanks Tom. I think as far as size goes the Triax will be bigger than all 5 were together.

Hi All,

Update on the trade ins. (for the Triax).

All the XV30f are long gone but we still have a few XV30 down firing. $1199 each, $2278 for duals (Including shipping to conus) I don't think you will see pricing like this again..

These have all been tested to ensure they perform 100%. If you are on "the fence" please don't wait too long as the stuff in our outlet center tends to sell quickly. Thanks.

Hi guys!!! I'm new here and wanted to see if any of you can help me. I've been doing my homework about subwoofers and ended with this 3 subs as my choices: PSA XV15, Svs pc12+ or the fv-15hp I think is ascend audio IDK. My budget WAS $500 I don't know how I ended looking at this subs....I'm not suggesting you guys are a bad influence.... Who said that?? LOL, anyway is going to be 90% movies 5% games 5% music.
The room size is 10x9 maybe? I'm not sure because I will be moving in a few weeks. Thanks guys!

For the money you can't beat a XV15 at $800 and save your self some cash. Especially with your room size for the time being it would do real well. If you have any specific questions you can always send a email to Tom or Jim @ sales@powersoundaudio.com they are really good with getting back to you in a timely manner.
