Never seen this show, in terms of being completely awesome, how does it rank with Dexter, Breaking Bad, Homeland, etc? I know it's a different genre, but still!

It's an amazing show. Maybe not as great as Breaking Bad but, certainly much better than Homeland's horrible second season and the horrible sixth and eighth seasons of Dexter.

Is it relatively consistent?

Yes and no. Each season is a new mystery, but it is consistent in each season so to speak. He re-uses a lot of the same actors and actresses as well.

I am 2 episodes into Asylum.

Season one was awesome, it never felt too forced or corny, and every episode hooked me into the next.

Asylum is not quite living up to that for me. The whole present-day thing is just pure cheese, and nothing in the main story is really grabbing me other than Cromwell's always-excellent performance. I am intrigued to see where the alien abduction thread goes. That could almost be an entire season; maybe they will tie a future season together somehow and have one that truly revolves around the alien abduction/invasion trope.

It's $32.99 at Best Buy for a brand new one... I'm not sure $3 difference is enough to warrant getting that used one

Just finished this and really enjoyed it.

Just like the first season, there were some head-scratching inconsistencies in the plot, but overall I felt that it was still really entertaining all the way through.

The only thing that kinda bugged me was how they seemed to abandon the
[Show spoiler]Christianity/Devil plot line as soon as Sister Mary Eunice died. I felt like that aspect of the show was its whole backbone, so I hated that they just kinda swept it under the rug and instead focused on the "insanity" and "alien" drama for the last several episodes.

But all gripes aside, I'm still happy to own this series and will definitely be tuning in to Coven!

The region coding listed on titles is user submitted (like many of the details for all titles are since it's impossible for the site administrators to have every detail for every release). So, it's not the fault of the site, but rather the fault of the person who submitted it. And the rating on that particular region coding submission is at 40%, which means some users have found it to be inaccurate.
