P. S. Sony tech support team told me that downloading from them is same quality as BluRay.
lol no way, its about a 5th of the size of the proper retail 3D bluray, there is no way you downloaded 50gig, same goes for the 3D stuff from pay tv, like a 10th of the quality of the retail disc.

^ +1 go for the disc and original at that, not bootleg. You'll really enjoy ACC. If you can afford brand new, which should not be a problem, go for a brand new.

This was the first movie I bought in 3d (months ago as part of the Disney DMR deal) and now I'm finally set up with my 3d samsung so this was the first movie that my wife and I watched. She says she wishes she could watch it in 2d while I watch it in 3d, but I thought it was pretty amazing. I kind of thought it wouldn't have as much depth as it did, but the movie was solid, and the 3d effects were excellent. Very happy with both purchases. Now I just need to figure out if I should get a SquareTrade warranty.

It was SH yeah, but it is mint. I always insist on examining disk surfaces etc before buying. The whole pack looks untouched to be fair. Oh, and unless Xmas falls tonight ... I won't be waiting to watch it.

Just finished this movie and loved it. Great movie, and the best overall 3d performance I have seen (I have only seen a few)

Even my wife who has been less than impressed with 3d so far enjoyed it

Or
[Show spoiler]the door scene. I jumped the second and third time!

I got this on 3D Blu-Ray, and whilst I haven't seen it in 3D yet I'm a bit pessimistic.

I can imagine there is quite a lot of....

......ghosting.

After audio issues with my John Carter disc(s), seeing this ,you have got me a little worried! I think I am going to have to have a peak now, especially being a Disney release like John Carter...Thanks.

ps.Im good with the creepiness and Im sure Santa will find me more anyway, it just seems like a christmassy thing to do. like listening to A Beach Boys christmas album, still great music but wrong at any other time of year, makes the enventual experience even more special though.

Default A Christmas Carol 3D?

I haven't seen a thread in the 3D forum for this title. I just ordered it. Being my favorite Christmas movie I have high hopes. How is the 3D? Review said it was great but they also said Journey 2 was great and I was less than impressed with that one.

There are some reviews of the 3D in the main thread; just have to do a little searching for them. Good luck.

The 3D aspect is great so if you like the movie itself you are all set.

I got mine pretty cheap when Borders was going out of bussiness some time ago.

Wow, lots of I hate 3D whining in that thread.

Christmas Carol's 3D is excellent SonOfArathorn. Released at the height of the post-Avatar 3D flood, it was obviously made with 3D in mind with many scenes taking advantage of it to full effect. The picture quality is stunning, and while the official review mentions some very occasional ghosting I didn't notice any with my passive 3D TV. I think you will enjoy it.
