I know people keep saying The Last Man on Earth isn't worth their efforts, but in the context of a set like this, how could it not bolster sales?
Its worth it, the film is great.

But it isn't worth making an HD master, or else they'd (somone) already have released it.

But I digress, its been stated over and over.

I would say this is true of HOWLING III, which Mora says he made to amend for part II.

HOWLING II was a misfire that happens to be a lot of fun.

As reviled as the Howling sequels are to me personally, I would probably buy a box set if Timeless Media/Shout were to release one. Not talking about a half-assed set with just the films, I mean a full-fledged collection with the films completely uncut and looking their best and, of course, special features. Sometimes I think even turds can be polished

Am I the only one who is head over heels for Cry of the Banshee?

I'm not so sure an HD master doesn't already exist for The Last Man on Earth. MGM HD has listings for it on Halloween, and three times throughout November. It's possible that it's an upscale, but it's also possible it isn't.

These would be my choices although I would add or switch out The Raven for Twice Told Tales. And although very unlikely unfortunately I would love House in Haunted Hill and Last Man on Earth to be included.

There's my vote for The Vincent Price Collection Volume 2.

------

Going back to the werewolf post a couple pages back, I really, really, REALLY don't see how anyone can classify Wolfen as a werewolf movie. Bugs the hell outta me when people say that. The Wolfen themselves are
[Show spoiler] either actual wolves or animal spirits who are protecting the sacred grounds that were being desecrated by the construction project. Edward James Olmos character is a red herring; he only claims to be a shape-shifter, there's no proof that he is and frankly all signs point to him being full of it.

It's not an upscale. It used to be available on Netflix, and looks quite nice, so it could be an easy acquisition for a Volume 2 of Vincent Price. The only reason it "wouldn't be worth releasing" is that the film is in Public Domain. I'd personally love to see it on Blu.

Great choices. Who in the hell is saying The Last Man on Earth isn't worth the effort?? That's one of my top 5 films in my wishlist for movies that need to be released on Blu-ray. It was the closest adaptation to the book I Am Legend as well.

Yeah it's definitely the best adaptation. Way better than the Will Smith CGI abomination and slightly better than the fun Heston version.

I thought all the collectors editions in your sale were supposed to have their slips, per a post on your FB page. My copy of Funhouse arrived today sans slip.

The predictable result of slip cover theft that has been advocated here.

We have seen the slipcover thieves in this thread suggest buying a BD to get a slipcover and then returning that BD to a retailer for a refund. Eventually, these returned discs, if not sold at retail, will be returned to Scream without slips. Do we expect Scream to keep buying new slipcovers long after they've finished pressing discs?

If people keep stealing, there will be a consequence to innocent consumers.

This is just the chickens coming home to roost.

Yep, mentioning that is always a no no as the mods consider it stealing as you pointed out.

I really hope that my Halloween 3, coming soon, comes with a slip only to match Halloween II, They Live, and Phantasm II.
