Cloverfield is one of my least favorite movie experiences ever. I really enjoyed Pacific Rim.

I can tell when you're joking... all good!

Lucky you! 31st for me. I'll be watching it quite a few times next month. I probably won't stop until I know it off by heart!

I liked when those little mini Cloverfield creatures broke off and attached/exploded their human victims.

I like them both, there is some things both movies could have done better. Either way there good. Gonna watch both to get ready for Godzilla.

I enjoyed both PR and Cloverfield in its own right...Cloverfield, again reiterating, is found footage of what happened when 4 friends are caught in the monster's appearance in NY. Having said that, Jon Abrams felt that America "should have its own monster" like Godzilla is for Japan, hence his idea for Cloverfield...It's a very unique way to show the monster through the eyes of the eye-witness. I thought it was very cleverly made, and you could see the monster clearly towards the end when
[Show spoiler]the last three in the helicopter were seeing the air raid on that monster
, and again in Central Park.

Pacific Rim I liked because there hadn't been a monster movie like PR since Cloverfield, and in its own right, had great scenes of action and monsters duking it out with robots! It's every kid's dream to see in a big budget flick!

I don't like one over the other, they're both on my "watch list" and if I want to watch it, I have no one at home complaining about it when I put in the blu-ray, so everyone wins!

That being said, I simply cannot wait for Godzilla this spring/summer!!
