There are no plans to release films to 100 Gig models atm. The problem isn't just cost, cause it will cost more to make, but also compatibility. The LAST thing this industry needs is another format that won't run on all the players. Sure they say it will work with a firmware update... but not all BD players have that luxury, in fact not enough do right now.
Maybe someday they will work these into the format, but as we see it now, it is not as important to get out as people think. BD50 is very popular and the only thing that could benefit from BD100 is a series since movies easily fit onto a BD50. Series, and games.
It might be that the PS3 will use them for games, since all PS3s can have a firmware update. But right now that is not planned since it is still in development.
I sure hope to hear something more on it this year though, since I think it would be great to have 100Gb games and maybe even series and/or long epic movies (like LotR) but I am not going to hold my breath about it.
