Default Stripes

To me, Stripes up until graduation has always been a fantastic and funny film. After graduation, when they go to Europe in the RV, it is more of a drag.

The New World Extended Cut. Shorten it by 172 minutes and it would be perfect.

I'd say Peter Jackson films as well. The length seemed appropriate for LOTR, but King Kong and the Hobbit just went on forever...

The new Man of Steel movie I felt was too long as well. I found it a bit tedious towards the end.

One that looks like a jet ski with skis on the bottom? There's a few of those on sale in my neighborhood.

Ginger Snaps. Cut 30 minutes out and it'd be good.
Dogma. I love it, but it does drag in the middle.
Die Hard 2-3. 3 is great, about 15 minutes too long, but great. 2 is about 40 minutes too long.
Face/Off. The final battle is 30 minutes long. Need I say more. I love the film, but come on.
Death Proof. The first half was god-awful and unnecessary.
Howling III. Goes about 40 minutes too long.
Halloween water. Should have ended 10 seconds in.

Definitely agree here. I also think it's Malick's weakest film.

The Dilemma
Seconds (Going to take flak for this one)
Master and Commander
Twilight's Last Gleaming

That's enough for now.

I think all movies should be no more than two hours, unless it is an extremely compelling story.

Comedies and animated movie should hover around the 90 min mark. I hate those two hour comedies.

Man, you must really hate the extended cut of Mallrats: 2 hrs, 4 mins.

Really? I thought that the second group of girls was when it started to get good. I gave no sh!ts about Jungle Julia and her crew.

I've always felt that Inland Empire could've used a few cuts here and there.

NONE.
There are movies where boring parts should be taken out and replaced with non boring scenes but nothing should be shorter.
That said there are about an hour's worth of insanely boring scenes of James Stewart driving in Vertigo.

Cut off 90 minutes of Transformers 3 and it'll be decent.

Akira Kurosawa is a legend but letting a movie end wasn't one of his strong suits. Slice an hour off Ikiru, and you have a much better film.
