Why hope something gets cancelled? If you don't like it, don't watch, but why hope to deprive others of something they like? I can't stand Survivor or Law and Order SVU, but I don't wish them off the air so others who DO like it can't watch. No reason for that.

While I agree with whoever said T2 could've/should've been the end, I generally agree, but Terminator stuff is too cool to ignore. And given a choice between how 3 decided to end it, or a revised universe of the TV show, I'll choose the show. Plus I like the chick from 300.

Thank God they picked something decent then.
There's enough reality in the World without having to watch it all the friggin' time on TV.

I like the Chronicles, I'm interested to see where they go with it.

This is a smelly turd of a show! Was very disappointed with it. Its more like watch the OC than a show about the Terminator universe! The dude they have playing John Conner bugs the hell out of me, he should be in a commercial for a hair product or something. To much watering down for my liking. The did the same thing with RoboCop!! (Each to there own I suppose)

Oh, c'mon... if you don't like it that's fine. But comparing it to the O.C.?

Maybe comparing it to the O.C. was taking it a bitter far. I really had high hopes for this show. Dashed again. I'm a bit nervous about T4, no James Cameron and now no Arnie. Mr Bale has a lot of work to do, great actor, one of my favourites. I hope this turns out great!!

The first season of The OC was great.

Never went anywhere after that.

Perhaps if you'd watched the rest of it you'd change your mind.

When I hate a show and feel it's violated preexisting canon, I still watch every episode so my criticisms are educated and no one can say "you didn't watch so you don't know"

The show does well continuing the story from T2, and rightfully ignores T3, but the first 2 absolutely happened.

Cause it ruins the Terminator universe. people time traveling left and right? come on...
If I have a conversation with someone about Terminator 1/2, I'd rather not hear them utter a word about this show, thus I'd like to see it cancelled.

But I guess I'm very selfish when it comes to this

Good news, i really like the show, and was pretty glad it wasnt just another rehash of the same formula. it does need a bit more polish so hopefully it will get that this time round.
Keep me going till T4 i guess.

How does it ruin it? Can you articulate specifically where you find problem with the fact that people ahve a time machine and use it ruins things?

No NO, what he wants is every week for a new terminater to chase them for an hour and then meet an horific end, thus in keeping with the original universe.

Whenever I hear someone say that a new installment ruins a series, my first impulse is to ignore them. After all, unless you created the series, who are you to dictate? I also have little respect for ppl who make overly selfish demands, such as cancelling a show for everyone just because they don't like it. In fact, you might say someone like that sounds kinda like Rob Enderle.

In any event, I'm gald to hear Fox not being boneheads. I'm very much agreeing with what Bill said about execs these days. Too many shows get killed off prematurely, and all it does is disenfranchise more people and tank overall ratings even further. While there is a risk to leaving a show on for too long, I think more damage is being done with current tactics.

I'm hoping Summer Glau comes back; she's great.

I thought the pilot was great, but missed most of them that aired. From the ones I saw, I thought it was a well done show with good pacing. I'm looking forward to renting this when it comes out and will record the 2nd season when it airs.

The funny thing is the Terminator universe is all about time travel...So his comment really doesn't make sense!
