Did you read my post how was I overconfident? I said if we play like we did tonight, I don't see you guys beating us at home. Another thing why wouldn't I be worried about going to play the number 3 team at home, with a awesome O. Hell yeah I was worried.

Well Oregon broke it open. Probably going to be.

1. Alabama
2. Oregon
3. Florida St.
4. Ohio St.
5. Miami (?)

Hard to say after #4 since five of the top-10 teams lost this week.

My guess is UCF ends up somewhere around #20. I think our highest ranking ever was the final poll of 2010 when we ended the year at #21.

No, I wasn't. I was disappointed that we were living up to our recent performance history with UNC, which was coming into their home turf and playing like crap again. Then my team came through in the final minute, and that made me happy. Let's not compare the two games from a hype/importance standpoint. They're not even close.

Somehow I wouldn't be surprised if Clemson and FSU just swapped places.

I'm pretty sure CU drops out of the top 5.

That's true. It is the first BCS rankings tomorrow, so it will probably weight that point differential pretty heavily. We'll see.

Wow, didn't realize that until I checked the box score. Washington St. QB Connor Halliday really did throw 89 times. The guy is a lousy QB to begin with. He had 14 TD, 13 Int entering the game. Still, they can't fire Mike Leach. They aren't going to find someone better. Leach is running his style of offense. He just doesn't have a QB capable of handling it.

Washington St. for the game:

58 receptions for 557 yards
12 carries for 2 yards

There was no defense in the first half. After the first quarter it was 24-21.

LOL I am a Houston fan and even stated here that we would lose 4 or so games. So no need to laugh like there was a real possibility of an undefeated season and I doubt you heard any fans talking about that unless they were blind homers.

Agree on Leach. He took over one of the worst BCS conference programs (they went 9-40 under former coach Paul Wulff, and 3 of those wins were against FCS teams) and it's going to take Leach at least 3 recruiting classes to get players in to run his system. He's already got the team on the right track and they could become bowl eligible this season if they win 2 of their final 4 games. He knew they weren't going to do anything on the ground last night so he didn't have much choice other than to throw it practically every down.

UCLA only dropped a few spots in the polls. Hmmm not as bad as I thought. !! 11 in Coaches, 12 in AP. Need to do better.

Surprised Texas A&M fell further than LSU. LSU has lost to a UGA team that is collapsing and Ole Miss. Texas A&M lost to the #1 team and what's now the #11 team.

But A&M is really a one man show. If Manziel goes down, then they're probably last in their conference. So in essence this is still a good ranking for them.

And if FSU loses their QB, they're a 15-20 ranked team.... but they're not ranked there....

You clearly missed my point. All A&M has is the incredible play making ability of their QB. That's it. FSU is a well rounded team, which can win games with defensive and special team plays as well. It's like comparing apples to oranges.

Yes, but with their QB, they are better than LSU.... and ranked below them.

I honestly don't think A&M is a better team than LSU, but I'll give it to you based on the results thus far. I have a feeling that A&M WILL lose their last two games of the season though (to LSU and Missouri).
