I already HD the steelbook from release day but grabbed the 3D version during the BBY U&S.

Also had orginal during release date and upgrade to 3D during BBY U&S sale.

I forgot to post this one earlier.

Been double dipping on steels a lot lately with another 3 double dips soon to arrive in the mail . Here are a few of my doubles. Sorry for the crappy picture quality, my phone makes everything look blurry and yellow - damn iPhone.

Nice additions! Is it just me, or do those steelbooks make you feel like your amarays are cheap knock-offs

I totally agree. Since I started collecting steels and special editions I almost look down on my amarays now haha. I feel like if it is a movie worth owning then getting some sort of collectors edition is a must.

I didn't want to create another thread but anyone here double dip because they want to keep one sealed because its a collectible, limited, special edition and open the other or even buy the standard version?

You could technically create another thread because this is the "photos of" thread.

But for me, NO. I double dip ONLY on different versions. I have already done the "open one / keep the other sealed" double dip with other collections and eventually I sold off the 2nd copies. But, thats just me.

My only two double dips thus far. I'm currently waiting on my Batman Begins Korean import to go with my Best Buy version.

I LOVE that Star Trek 3D cover BEST of all the artwork. In really wish that they had made that into a steelbook. I have that ES exclusive on its way to me right now.

Safe double dip on Pacific Rim. Weird how Gipsy looks like completely different shades of blue between the two covers; FS steel looks gunmetal and "realistic" while 3D is a truer blue and more toylike

The most I would buy for one movie is 2 Blu-rays. Don't have that kind of money to buy so many versions for a single movie like many members here have. Kudos to them.
