If anyone can help in getting one of these for me I'd appreciate it.

Just order it from Amazon. If you've never bought from the US and Canadian Amazon's you can use your UK details. $22.23 is over the £15 limit so there is a risk of paying import VAT on top of your order and the dreaded handling fee.

Order this along with the 10 other AmazonCA exclusive steelbooks. Not sure if I'll be keeping the preorder on all of them, but definitely Stargate! Great looking steelbook, IMO!

I did this one and Sin City. The only two I wanted. I locked them for now, like you not sure if I'll keep them or not. The CDN pricing and shipping is beyond stupid. I mean you can get a SB from the UK or Germany for as much as the shipping alone is from Canada. I mean common...stupid NAFTA.

How much was your shipping just for the 2 steelbooks? Mine was just under $30 for all 11. So really it works out to ~$2.70 each...which is not too bad. Definitely one of those "strength in numbers" type deals, with AmazonCA.

I think shipping on the two SB's I order was either $11 or $15.

They do. I've ordered a few things from them in the past. As far as I know all Amazon's ship to the UK. A few third-party sellers have restrictions.

I hope they've gone full throttle (interior artwork, removable j-card).

Would've loved an embossed stargate on it somewhere, but I'm just too happy to be worried about that now!

I'd say wait because that's a "model" cover art and not the "true, or street, or whatever you call it". They might end up having French in simple and small lettering.

MINE!!!!!

Hoping for back and interior artwork. This would be the 6th time I'd be buying this film. (VHS, 2 DVD, 2 amaray blu-ray, then this). One of my all-time favorite flicks, and I've been DYING for a steelbook to be released.
