Thanks for the news bro!

I watched both in theaters - Iddarammayilatho PQ was pretty bad at the theaters - very soft/dull and missing detail - so I wouldnt expect much from it other than the soundtrack. Balupu on the other hand looked quite good at theaters and I expect a good transfer!

I am afraid so - I couldn't believe a new film [Iddarammayiltho] could have that bad a PQ and so I checked with friends who saw else where and confirmed. Washed up colors, minimal detail, soft picture - you name it! Of course, I would love to be surprised by SBV

I guess Puri is cutting corners not only with the script but also with production values

I am with you. Many of the shots were taken camera facing the sun and we can see many defocused shots. I watched the first show in a very good theater (I am alone in the theater too) and was very disappointed with the PQ.

Unfortunately, no surprises - as expected/suspected, same washed up colors, out-of-focus stuff seen in theater transferred over as-is which is actually good - atleast SBV is not to be blamed. Oh well.

I am still waiting for my copy but google images for 1080p screens dont look promising at all - if anything, they maybe worse than what I recall seeing in theaters - looks just like the notorious "businessman" bluray! sigh!

It is the weakest movie from the director and i doubt whether would i able to sit for a sequel(if it comes as shown in the climax)
