The handycam, although not original, was definitely an intriguing way to portray utter havoc and destruction in a major city. The special effects were also amazing. I really do hope that Paracrap will release this on Blu sometime.

Of course, I do want all the Universal Horror Movies on Blu-ray. There is a very nice Godzilla box set on DVD that I am refusing to buy because I want the Blu-ray so badly for those.

Sphere. The giant squid you never see or konw actually exists. Well, actually it does exist because that is what Samuel L. dreams. Good movie, great book. Even though I think it is Crichton's best, this movie is one of a few that actually does the book any justice. The other of course would have to be JP.

The only one that scared me back in the day was The Blob. The old classic one. The rest of the bunch I thought was cool and good for some obligatory nude shots. I aspired to be like Pinhead but meh, had chores and stuff...
