Tom,
It was you reputation and customer service (numerous emails, all hours of he day/night) that made me feel comfortable with my purchase of dual XS30's. I recently did a little tweaking and they sound even better! They truly are great subs. I am happy PSA is doing well.

Matt

Hi Matt,

Thanks for the props!

A big part of this for Jim/myself is we simply enjoy the *gig*. So it rarely seems like we are working too many hours....as it rarely feels like we're "at work".

Just ordered dual XV15s to replace my single SVS PB12-plus which I just sold. Looking forward to being a part of the PSA family and hearing how dual subs will sound compared to one.

Congrats. You're getting great subs and great customer service from Tom/Jim. Welcome to the family, you're gonna love your new subs!! Duals should should even out the response in your room and give you extra couple of DB's depending on placement. You're gonna love them!!

It is a move you won't regret. As a new comer to the family to, all i can do is praise PSA.

I was even at an electronics show yesterday, at the SVS booth, when the rep asked which sub i had, and he was told the XS30, he said excellent sub.

The reps at the show i was at from SVS had nothing but praise for Tom and Jim.

Yes I know Spurrier but I still have a lot of respect for SVS and the quality of their subs.

Thanks for the encouragement mmarki. I have been contemplating duals for quite awhile.

Yes indeed. Tom and Jim have an excellent reputation in the industry and I am glad you heard that from the SVS booth.

Can the Triax be concealed in a wall?
Or does it have to be out in the open, for optimum performance?

All three 15" drivers need to be radiating into the listening area. Definitely not a good enclosure design for "in wall" applications.

So does this mean that you should not have it in a corner with the drivers facing the walls?

Correct,

As long as each of the three 15s on the Triax has unrestricted access to the room space...you are fine. "unrestricted" meaning an inch or two of clearance between the driver and something like a wall or sofa.
