you might be right, but, i just ordered mine tonight and it clearly states "with collectable case". mind you, i put it in my cart online under my BB account about a week ago and it was still there tonight so i went ahead and purchased it. even got one for my daughter.

if she doesn't care about the case, i might be willing to sell it.

If you bought the UK Collectors Edition that's the same case. The US version does not include it.

Since nobody posted it here's the case from BBY. Sorry for the purple tint. HTC One that has the known purple tint camera issue

This photo looks like a G2 (PS3) size. Is it? I picked up mine, but the Best Buy guy said all they had were the bigger, G1 sized cases. The UPC is also different. Can anyone confirm if Best Buy has G2 cases?

I'm pretty sure they're all G1 to accommodate both Xbox and PS3. Making two different cases would be more costly for them I'd assume.

I just went back to Best Buy and exchanged the case for a G2 size. Apparently the BB employee didn't actually look in the box of these when he said he did earlier.

So, there are definitely two cases sizes, which is cool.

Also, I don't like MetalPaks, especially ones without the title on the spine, but this one gets a pass because of all the extra super embossing. It looks fantastic opened up.

Yeah it's g2. The cases have 2 different skus for whatever version you preordered. They did the same thing for Prototype 2.

I pre-ordered the collectors edition of this game for my Xbox 360 and by the time picked it up after work last they were out of cases, plus they said the case was only valid for the regular edition. I said are you serious and they said yes, even the store manager said it was for the regular edition only.

I told them Best Buy has lost my business on video games. I spend about 2000.00 a year on video games. I always pre-order the expensive editions. The manager didn't seem to care. My COD Ghosts Prestige Edition will be the last from Best Buy. Amazon here I come and take my money.

UK edition is the same Metalpack except the artwork is different. Not sure why companies are going with them over Steelbook because they're garbage.

I am not a fan of the metalpak at all, that being said this is a pretty awesome case, I have never seen such huge embossing, its so thick looking! It is very nice!
