Sling, we are getting awfully off-topic in this thread. I really hate arguing in the internet but let me just state my opinion once and for all and you are welcome to accept it or not. My PRO-150FD is the best plasma for its price and the Bravia is not even close to the Elite in picture quality. Just because some people don't want to spend that much or can afford an Elite Kuro doesn't change the fact that the Elite Kuro is the best.

There, I've said it. Now can we go back to the topic?

People don't have the money for a Pio yet the People buying them are wasting there money...It seems fare to me
If you believe kuro is the best that's your right yet many will disagree. You know were I stand about it but what you don't know is that I owned the Pio exchanging within 30 days for the Sammy

Why did I go with a Sammy becoming that cheap skate after spending that extra money on kuro,

1)Same picture quality..Blacks are a tiny tad less but Thats ok. #2) and #3) below well then made up for it.

2)Better factory warranty..2 years

3)Screen burn protection

And come to find out 5 months later the Pio model I owed has many problems seen in the great Kuro thread over at AVS
My Sammy has no problems so I made the right choice and saved 2 grand

I agree ,lets get back on topic

I love my Elite Kuro too much to put her through that again .

Don't worry, I'm not laughing at you but with you.

Something similar happen to me with my LCD computer monitor. I bought it brand new and out of the box I had one stuck pixel. Tried to do a return, but got some bullshit reason about if it wasn't 3 or more than a return isn't acceptable. So what i did was tried this Jscreen tool first.

http://www.jscreenfix.com/

That really didn't work. So next I did the "massage pixel" technique. Now that worked perfect. 4 months went by, so I decided to clean my LCD screen. Guess what? The damn thing came back stuck afterwards. Haven't tried to massage it again. It wouldn't bother me soo much except its a "BLUE DOT" right in the MIDDLE of the screen.

If you can connect your PC thru your HDTV, you can run the Jscreen fix tool to see if it gets unstuck.

I have found that massaging the dead pixel with a stylus, such as the one that comes with the Gameboy DS, seems to work at clearing the pixel. I just press lightly on the screen where the pixel is, and work it in a circle from the center out until it disappears.

Default My 42 plasma had this problem

My ILO 42in plasma had half a screen of red pixels. They only were visible in dark screens. I had to take it back to walmart and *****. The warranty was only 3 months!

Thankfully wallys gave me store credit.

Did you buy from a retailer that imposes restocking fees?

If you didn't, you could just say, "Ok, I'm not returning this based on a dead pixel. I just don't like the monitor. Thanks."

My PSP has two dead pixels. I searched online and I found this video you could download. It flashes between red, white and green (I think) really, really fast and it's supposed to unstick the pixel (that is if it's a stuck pixel). All it did was tire my PSP screen and make me dizzy. There are either dead pixels or stuck pixels, so my pixels were obviously dead. Once they're dead, I don't think there's any way to fix them other than to just buy a new TV/PSP/etc.

So yeah, just try returning your tv because it isn't fair being given something that doesn't work properly.

I got it from the Tiger Direct store near me.

What I done now is bought another monitor and used the one with the stuck pixel as my second monitor for extended desktop. Bad thing is I usually watch a movie on it and sometime people will look like they have a blue pimple on their forehead.

I can live with it for now. Atleast its not 4 or 5 randomly throughout the screen.
