Hey all.

I have a PS3 Slim 320GB model on order & just recently ordered this,

I've read good comments about it working well with PS3 Slim. (Not SSlim)

Would just like to hear your experiences with your PS3's running with a 1TB HDD. What models/brands do you have/prefer?

I made this decision because I'm tired of constantly deleting games purchased on PSN. Installs alone have ate up my current 298GB/320GB model for available GB space.

Have any of you run into problems with your drive after PS system updates? I've read a few comments from people who mentioned that.

I just did upgraded my hdd as well on my phat ps3 80gb a couple of days ago. I love it although in reality you end up with only like 860 after you switch hd and download current firmware onto a usb drive. Make sure to do that. i bought a samsung 5400 1tb.

I found this & watched the whole thing. Seems to be the most thorough video on YouTube.

I will be upgrading stock PS3 with no extra data. So I should still expect only around 850+ GB right? Thanks

Been doing nothing but installs lately.

Looks like I'll be deleting all Resident Evil games. I figure I might be able to keep the 3 Batman games downloaded & that's it on my current 320GB.

The new one I get, I wanna re-download the PSN full games onto it after the 1TB install. I know there is a better way to transfer content but I might still have to be picky which games go on the 1TB.
