I love Fringe and the first two seasons of Alias, then it went to crap IMO. I do hope that Abrams involvement is only as a co-creator and pruducer. The show runner of Fringe being involved will make me tune in.

JJ has no involvement at all other than his name on a screen credit.

Joel Wyman is the man running the show.

I watched some of the Almost Human comic con panel. It looks like it will have a procedural element with a mythology. They plan to explore crimes of the future and creative elements of how future law enforcement will stop them.

Wyman said he thinks Fringe fans will like the show.

Ugh. Fox has pulled that stunt before, and it always seems to backfire.

They want to give the premiere a big lead-in with late NFL. I think it's a good idea. Giving this show some exposure to a male-oriented audience should help it.

Problem I have with anything airing after any type of sporting event is many games run over. Meaning DVRs are useless and many times the shows get cut short by the next scheduled show or cut completely and re-aired at another time. They would be better off leaving it on the regular schedule and just re-air it after the game if there is time.

I'm just hoping it is a good as Sleepy Hollow's pilot. I watched that for the hell of it on Hulu+ and enjoyed it more than I thought I would. Might be tuning into both.

This is my most awaited new show, so I hope it turns out to be as good or better than Sleepy Hollow...
