The dual format editions use a 14mm clear (i.e. not blue) blu-ray case with a swing tray. This seems to have become a standard for dual format editions here (MoC, BFI, Arrow).

If you are worried about the thickness, then blu-ray only releases can be easily transfered from a 14mm case to an 11mm case (I do this for all standard bluray editions which do not include booklets or extra disks). The spine artwork usually looks fine as the title and BBFC logo do not reach the edge. Only one which did not look fine was 'Hidden' from AE, as the AE banner reaches the edges of the 14mm spine.

The clear dual format editions usually include booklets, and will not fit into an 11mm spine (much like Criterion releases).

Most of the Paramount releases have the BBFC logo reaching the edge of the spine, so if the OP were to buy something from Paramount's archive they may not be able to transfer the artwork to a smaller case.
