I visited the website on the making of this summer's "The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor", and I just thought that everyone would like to see this very first image of Jet Li as the new Mummy, the Han Emperor.

Looking forward to it as well. If you want to watch the old Mummy films again before seeing it, the DVDs look great upscaled. Hopefully they will release them on BD before the premiere.

My wife has watched the Mummy and The Mummy Returns more times than I care to mention. The third edition is going to be an opening day watch for us.

Actually he said he'll stop making Wuxia movie, which are the ones based in ancient historical china, not that he'll stop making martial arts or other movies. He just believes that he's done all he can in the wuxia world.

I'm surprised the Mummy 1 & 2 haven't been up for pre-order on Amazon yet. Be nice if they give us a nice $40 bundle like they did with National Treasure.

They should be 19.95 each at amazon anyway, thats how much they were on DUD.

Jet Li in a movie = generally bada$$ martial arts

That being said, is there room for something like this in the Mummy franchise? It seems to me that it would be out of place.

I'm looking forward to this movie, as it should definitely be entertaining. I'm of a fan of the first two as well, so I was excited when they announced another installment.
