You got to give him the benefit of the doubt. That's not the easiest managerial job to settle into. Especially when you're succeeding the legendary Ferguson. He's going to need a little time to adjust to everything. But I do realize that United's fan base is not the most patient one in the world. They're used to winning, and they don't accept anything less, regardless of the circumstances surrounding the team.

I agree with you on the one signing away post, and also, as well thought out as your comment was that I quoted above, I was talking about Fellaini. Not Moyes. edit: brain |

So yeah... I'm down for giving Moyes time.
I don't expect much for a few years. Three years to win the league I'll give him. I'm not fussed about other cups. Want to win the league. The day in, day out struggle. However, SAF always maintained that no-one was bigger than the manager. I find this current situation quite the opposite. Moyes has to prove HIS worth. On the Manchester United level. Fingers crossed eh? |

Wait... yeah I was talking about Fellaini. Not Moyes or SAF initially.
You're putting words in my head. That's enough internet for now. For me. Nice try NSA. I'm off to play with beer and guitars. |

3-5-2 doesn't work away from home against a team known for keeping the ball very well, Surprised that Rodgers went with that formation would prefer 4-3-1-2 with Coutinho behind Suarez and Sturridge
Fulham at home weekend they're on bad run of form should pick up the 3 points |

John Delaney has told Sky Sports News he sees 'no impediment' to the impending appointment of Martin O'Neill and Roy Keane as the Republic of Ireland's new management team.
The chief executive of the Football Association of Ireland hopes to formally unveil the pair on Saturday following news on Tuesday that talks were at an advanced stage. O'Neill and former Manchester United midfielder Keane will succeed Giovanni Trapattoni - who was sacked in September following the country's failure to make the World Cup finals - and will be in charge of their first game against Latvia in Dublin on November 15. O'Neill, who has had spells in charge of Wycombe, Norwich, Leicester, Celtic and Aston Villa, was sacked by Sunderland in March whilst Keane, whose first management job was at the Stadium of Light, has been out of the game since January 2011 when he was jettisoned by Ipswich. He has stayed in the public eye as a TV pundit and saw his combative and unpredictable personality highlighted recently by Sir Alex Ferguson in the Scot's new autobiography. Keane was outspoken when he was United's captain and also caused controversy playing for his country, clashing with managers and the Irish FA over a number of issues. The most famous incident came at the 2002 World Cup in Japan when the midfielder attacked the team's preparations and the facilities they had to use before a dramatic falling out with manager Mick McCarthy. The past is now being put to bed, though, with Delaney saying Keane was O'Neill's man and that he is happy to abide by that. "I don't see any impediment to that (signing contracts) happening. I hope that this Saturday, this coming Saturday, there will be an unveiling of our new management," he told Newstalk Radio. Describing the pair as "two great icons of Irish soccer", Delaney added: "He (O'Neill) asked what the association's view would be about Roy being considered and I said absolutely no problem." Referring to Keane's past criticisms of Delaney, the chief executive said: "People would have known Roy and I wouldn't have had much contact in the past, because he was a player with the team, I was probably treasurer." O'Neill and Keane first game in charge will be a friendly against Latvia in Dublin on November 15 - the Republic will begin their qualification for Euro 2016 in September next year. |
