Warner Bros better get a move on with the new Mortal Kombat film, as director Kevin Tancheroen has left the project a number of months ago, and Nether Realm Studios aren't going to delay development of the game just because of the film. A next-gen MK game should be awesome. MK 2011 nailed it with the 2D style fighting, if it ain't broke, don't fix it!

I agree with what you said on 2011 MK. That was the best to date IMO. Can't wait to see what the next gen brings!!

I wouldn't mind seeing another Conquest mode.

If it's similar to the last one and sticks to the roots of the first few games this will be day 1 for me and I know I'll cave and buy the damn season pass it will no doubt have, only do that for MK now lol. I hope it's a little quicker though, it felt a little stiff but I was playing on 360 and suck more with that controller on fighting games.

I agree. The last one bringing back the 2D fighting was the best once since who knows when. I liked the challenge tower and the krypt. I would like to see all that and a Konquest mode again! I always enjoyed playing those too. Would be nice to see 4 fatalities per character, a couple animalities, friendships, and hari-kuris per character and then babalities and brutalities all brought in.

Mortal Kombat, what was it, 9? Was my favorite fighting game last gen, and Injustice wasn't far behind. It's been 3 years, time for another.
