The Pre-order is $18 plus $3 postage ($10 outside USA) and is available through November 15th through paypal only.

The set will be sent around the 10th of December

The Amazon listing was just a preorder deal to try to secure the rest of the funds needed to complete the project. They originally were only leaving it up until they had enough funds, but so many people missed out on it that they brought it back for a limited time.

I'm one of the people who bought it while it was listed the second time, but I still haven't received my film strips. I placed the order nearly a month ago and haven't heard anything. I contacted them yesterday via Amazon last night.

Same with me but I ordered it when it went live. I'm getting kinda worried. Check their response on the previous page.

If I don't have the set by (or news concerning it) near the time my right to file a claim passes, I will file one.

Gulliver looks like it's slated around the 25th of November since it's taking a bit to complete the final stages.

and from the updated Amazon product description...

This pre-release was only available until we ran out of the special bonus- an original 35mm Technicolor film strip from Gulliver's Travels, from a good frames of a water damaged print of the film that was acquired while looking for the best footage for the set. The purchase of this pre-release helped to fund the completion of the set. The final discs will be shipped toward the end of November. For those that ordered the pre-release- Thanks so much for the support in the production of these collections of classic animation! It's looking great and is almost finished!

I purchased a pre-order and am still awaiting the film strip bonus. I think I got a shipping notice from the company recently so hopefully that is what is coming. I placed my order on Oct 25th a few days I guess before they removed the listing.

I placed my order on October 9. I got a shipping notification a few days later with a delivery estimate between October 17 and November 1. I have not received anything in the mail. I sent them the following email yesterday:

Hi Thunderbean!

I have not received my film strips yet. Have they been sent?

Can't wait to see the blu-ray!

Thunderbean (and Steve) is a good company. I've purchased most of his DVD pre-releases in the past (via animation sites) and he's always come through. Sounds like he's adjusting to a larger market now so there may be some growth pains. But I'm positive he will come through in the end.

I don't doubt it but the pre-release promo was orchestrated poorly IMO.

You have to pay for more shipping to cover both pre- and release items (a lot of which have been lost apparently) and the situation with the Amazon orders showing as shipped for 1+ month now is just messy.

My film strips arrived yesterday. One is really awesome, the other is mid-dissolve so it's sort of weird. I love them both, though!

And I feel slightly confused on what the exact shipping date may be.

Also, I missed out on the Gulliver's Travel pre-order. Any word on whether I will be able to purchase it down the road?

Received my film strips today. They are very nice, I've never seen film strips up close before!
