They're on the Dutch release. I've seen the covers for the Italian releases and while the 3D release shows Danish subs, the 2D disc doesn't, so I'm confused there. Unless the 3D disc is similar throughout Europe and it's the 2D disc with different subs for different regions?

The 3D master will be intended for more territories than the 2D. 3D discs sell less, so if you can print more from the same master and just label them differently for each territory you could save money...

So are the US versions region free including the extras disc?
If so why isn't the UK release identical? Also do the US 2d and 3D blu rays come in the slim blu ray style box? Surprised if the 3D one does didn't think there would be enough room to house 4 discs in there. |

Thanks for the info guys, one last one is the dvd region 1? I only ask because I don't have a blu ray player in the bedroom and sometimes when you're unwell only a Superman marathon can make you feel better!

It's worth checking that your DVD player can be hacked to play multi-region. My Toshiba was region-free in half a dozen presses on the remote. WB are odd my DVD from the Blade Runner CE is region free! |

Guys, I feel really bad for asking this… I have read through all of these pages over the past couple of weeks but I have gotten really confused. I have looked on Amazon and that was not much help either - it made me more confused.
If I get the UK 2D version will I be missing extras that are on the 3D version? Amazon says the 3D has extras on second disc. I don't care for 3D but would not want to miss extras. Is there any release for the MMM in UK? I just want to clarify before I order ![]() |

We've been getting conflicting information, but the most common story is that the MMM-type feature (it isn't strictly an MMM) will be exclusive to UV with the blu-ray. Meaning you will have sign up for Flixster and Ultraviolet, then redeem the code included with the blu-ray and you will be able to download or stream the MMM-type feature from the Flixster website/app to a PC or mobile device*. *Not necessarily available on all platforms. ![]() So is the MMM-type thing the only difference between UK and US? I think I'm about to just get the 2D version. |
