But if there's a franchise tie in, I go with the one that's part of a series, like When a Stranger Calls / Happy B-Day to Me. I'd put it in "W", with the others in that series. If they were both part of seperate franchises, I'd be torn between when it would go. And I'd also be upset... Thankfully don't own one of those yet.
Me too.

Flip a coin or rotate the positioning after every viewing.

I just didn't buy. But my 5 pack of the last 3 Halloween movies and the 1st 2 Prom Night movies has the same problem. My solution: put it with Halloween movies until I decide to buy the Prom Night 3/4 double. Then, I'll put it with Prom Night,

My copy of They Live came from Amazon today. Screaming deal at $13 and some change - and with slipcover. (I was kind of amazed, ha ha.)

Not my favorite John Carpenter movie, and I feel it gets too heavy-handed towards the end, but a good price for retro 80's fun.

---We interrupt this broadcast...---

Soooo. Now that Arrow's releasing People Under the Stairs, anyone want to take a stab at Scream's chances? The Arrow cover art is pretty cool, though in general I actually prefer the styling done on Scream Factory's covers. It's a bit more 'lively'. Anyways, why let Carpenter have all the fun?

I'll say!

I imagine Scream Factory is definitely going to get some of those heavilly request Wes Craven/Universal titles at some point, in my mind the question really is just when. I'd also love to see Serpent and the Rainbow, but my #1 is Shocker!

And just to mention it again, Brian DePalma's Raising Cain.
I can most certainly see that one fitting perfectly in Scream Factory's line-up. A suspense driven film that will even out the cheese with some good old fashioned creepy.

I canceled an order for Town That Dreaded Sundown when it went on back order. I'm still waiting for a refund. It's been several days longer than SF customer service said it would. I really don't want to have to file a claim with PayPal.

Anybody else have a similar problem?

Finally watched the few films that were blind buys for me - The Burning, Prison, From Beyond, The Funhouse and Terror Train. Only one I didn't enjoy was The Funhouse - nothing happened in it! Such a boring film. Prison was a huge surprise for me as I wasn't expecting much from it, but found it hugely entertaining.

I have all but The Funhouse and all were blind buys for me too. I liked them all but the big surprise for me was From Beyond. Just a ton of fun and it looks fantastic.

I don't think Shout Factory's billing department is very efficient. They charged me in July for an order from March earlier this year. I'd contact support again then if no resolution file a PayPal claim just to protect yourself.

Watched Prince of Darkness today. It is a slow film but I really enjoyed it. Cool story, great effects, awesome score, and Alice Cooper. I wish the interview with Carpenter would've been longer. I could probably listen to him all day.

Excited for Body Bags and Assault on Precinct 13.

Any chance of Scream Factory releasing Candyman? The UK release isn't great, zero bonus features and I love this movie.

Unless they can come to an agreement with Sony, not likely.

Well, they could work it out. It is just that. They could just not make any new features. It'd be fine with Candyman though, as it already had a Special Edition DVD.

Inserts dont exist like they used to. I like them better than slip covers. Im glad for the few studios that still do them or the booklets..

I re-watched the Town That Dreaded Sundown and I really enjoyed it this..the PQ was great, better than the VHS quality DVDr that I rented....really not a bad film at all.
