I saw the restoration tonight and it looks staggering. It looks like the film was shot yesterday (on 60s film stock, of course).

I can also confirm that the color timing is roughly the same as the lifelike colors on the 2002 Koch DVD and the UK DVD. It does not match the French discs, which apparently have a very, very heavy blue tint.

The difference between the Koch disc and the French disc is especially noticeable in the marriage shot and the Christmas tree shot here:

The restoration was supervised by Agnes Varda and her two children with Demy, the daughter was here with her mother tonight to introduce the restoration.

Can't wait to get it on BD, just waiting for reviews to come in of the 11/20 French disc and this one, particularly about region status of the discs.
