In the spirit of San Diego Comic Con overkill, NBC dropped seven character posters on us this afternoon. Come on in and get an up close and personal look at the cast of this vampiric drama.

I watched the first episode. I guess I had enough time to get over it being a completely different take on the character.
Wasn't bad. The production design looks quite pretty at least. Didn't care much for Dracula's scheme of introducing alternative sources of energy to 18th century London to reduce dependence on oil. Seems too modern. And of course all the oil barons happen to be the ones he seeks revenge on. Last edited by Rizor; 10-31-2013 at 04:43 AM. |

He's introducing the alternative energy source because the group he's trying to destroy will be impacted by it. That's one of the ways he's going after them. Anyway... I'm liking this more than I expected to. A good part of it is the production design and direction. The show oozes Gothic. It doesn't hurt that the showrunner was the man behind Carnivalè. Of this season's new shows that I've been watching, this is by far the best. I could do without the Matrix-y slo-mo that pops up now and then, though. |
