Wait until episode 7. The teen son is going to be tied to a tree and beaten.

CBS is going for a new demographic.

The actor who plays the son was Live Tweeting last night and told me that they were currently filming episode 10.

It's going to have 13 episodes, right? Almost done! Even if it does get cancelled at least we know there's quite a few episodes left.

This is supposed to be a "limited series" right? or in other words if the series is not successful enough we can call it a "miniseries".

Finally watched episodes 3 & 4 and this show is so good! Did anyone think for a second that Samantha might've been in on it? I thought episode 4's ending was the worst one yet though. Why not pay someone else (besides the father) to drive her vehicle? And then the father could've made it to the bus station.

It won't get a 2nd season, but it should finish it's 15 episode arc.

I have to wonder how Intelligence will do in this timeslot come February.

If you've made it through episode 8 of 15, you might as well finish it.

I still like it. I think it's a fun series. We really don't need a second season, but not like it was getting one anyways. I just hope it has a good conclusion.

CBS confirmed today the show will air all 15 episodes, and there would be a 2 hour finale.

HOSTAGES will finish its 15 episode season with a special two-hour season finale on Monday, Jan. 6 (9:00-11:00 PM, ET/PT).

This show is testing my patience. Outstanding cast but poor writing IMO. No wonder it's doing badly in the ratings.

Its an accident you just can't look away from, the writing last night was TERRIBLE...one misunderstanding after another...the plot turns and twist that are suppose to blow your mind when revel are given away too soon or are shown in the previews for the following week's episode...

Ratings were slightly up due to no Blacklist and Castle, but if anyone in Jerry Bruckheimer's camp thinks this will return for another season, they are kidding themselves.

If this wasn't a "limited" series with a set number of episodes being produced it would have gotten pulled 3-4 weeks into the season.

Alright, finished everything up tonight. The previous 2 episodes and the 2 hour finale. Yup, stayed up for 3 hours of content tonight.

Kind of a sappy ending with the wife getting the marrow, Duncan surrendering and the family finally free. Would have preferred something a little more darker. I think the whole storyline with the President felt kind of incomplete. For someone who was supposedly this really dark and sinister person, they failed to play that up more. But, you know what, at least this series got an end and that's all that mattered. It wasn't the best serialized drama I watched, but it had it's moments. The little raid on the hospital while Ellen was perform the operation was kind of cool. I had to laugh at the goons that Duncan hired who didn't know the password and ended up getting shot.

Hopefully Intelligence does better creatively and in the ratings. Tough timeslot though with The Blacklist doing really well and Castle having it's core fans.

Not going to spoilerize anything because the episode aired and the series is officially over.

I thought it was an underwhelming finale. Oh well, it's finally over after being dragged out for so long and barely breathing ratings wise all season. I look forward to Toni Collette and Dylan McDermott's next projects.

The finale got a 1.0 and 4.84 million viewers, by the way.

Just finished it. It was pretty lackluster. I do agree that the surgery scene was pretty cool with all the chaos. It was not the worst thing I've ever seen, I have no intentions of ever watching it again, but it wasn't a horrible way to spend 40 minutes over the course of a few months. I'm guessing they knew probably after a few episodes they were not going to come back, even if it was just a limited series, so they pretty much wrapped everything up.
