The only other difference we know of, is that the UK will not be getting the interactive exploration of the Planet Krypton. (Which was included on the bonus disc with the MMM-type feature)

It's not an interactive feature just a regular 17 minute Discovery channel type piece on Krypton told as if the events of the movie really happened.

I think it was worded in the US press release as being interactive. (or more likely I'm going mental )

I very much doubt it, just inaccurate product information which Amazon are very well known for.

The fact the 3D version also says two discs, seems to confirm this. But maybe Warner have stuck both the 3D and 2D versions on the same disc...

I know. I just didn't want to be completely negative or look like an arse if they actually did do that.

PM me with a price mate. I'm on the fence whether to order the US set today. I'd prefer our 3D set for the cover.

I've also decided to cancel the UK release (3D Steelbook) and have ordered the US 3D set from Amazon.com. I really want that MMM type feature, it sounds amazing. Warner really shouldn't be treating the UK like this.

A lot of people in the US thread are buying multiple versions of Man Of Steel, so it maybe worth posting there and watching out on Ebay. I was going to order the Canadian release as it's about £18 delivered but I'd much prefer our release so I'm very glad to take Indiana Jones's bonus bonus disc off his hands! I will have to wait until December to watch the movie but a couple of weeks isn't going to kill me as we have The Wolverine next week.

If I cave in and buy the US or Canadian release after I get the MMM disc I'll let you (and stephenianhunt) know.
