Night of the Comet looks incredibly cheesy, might pass on it, but Precinct looks great.

It's kind of like Valley Girl meets Damnation Alley. I find it a very fun movie to watch. Night of the Comet I mean. Assault is just plain awesome.

It makes sense. Shout has Damnation Alley and needs to get Valley Girl. I want a front vanity plate that reads DMK.

Going off topic I would like to mention that my spouse dswoman had her cancer removed and was negative upon further tests..so I think we dodged a bullet..catching it at stage zero was huge

Thanks guys ! Trust me, we were nervous(me moreso)...breast cancer is nothing to mess around with, actually that goes for any cancer. Cancer is unfortunately very real - far scarier than any horror film... at least *reel* horror is entertaining...*real* horrors are both scary and sad

If you pass up Night of the Comet, it will be big mistake.
Its, I would say, my favorite film released under the Scream banner.
Its very 80s, but its endlessly enjoyable.

God Bless! Having lost my wife's father to cancer, recently, I can say it's a horrible, unforgiving disease. I just hope I'm around if/when they find a cure. What a day that will be!

I have to say Night of the Comet is in my top five of comfort food movies. You know movies that you know aren't Oscar caliber but for some reason you can pop it in any old time and you feel better. It's one of the most 80's flicks I know right from the very beginning.

My only knock on it is the last quarter of the movie it's like the budget got tight and they had to take short cuts...though I do like the ending wrap up.

I also went to Amoeba Records traded $30.00 of unwanted movies and was able to get Town That Dreaded Sundown and Lifeforce blu rays...basically 2 for the price of one (SRP price too)
