This reminds me of the Brian Banks case. I use to ask myself how the hell do people go to jail for something that they didn't do. I guess with people like Spurrier out there is very easy I guess. later, you did say alleged. but first, you said it without the alleged part. so it was you that stated that.

all of our teams aren't great. noone has said that and noone said Winston is a saint (other than you, on both counts).

and yes, some people are sensitive. they are sensitive when others say things about someone else that simply may not be true. personally, i like to reserve judgement until he is legally and truly judged by the courts (if it comes to that). it seems you say things because you don't like the guy because he plays for FSU. or maybe it's because Clemson lost to Florida State. i don't know. only you know that.

if you took the Clemson loss personally, that's good. as a fan you should take it personally. but i guarantee you that none of us as fans will take it more personally than the men on that field who played the game. they're are the ones who will have to live with that the rest of their lives. as fans we have an advantage and don't have to live with the feeling that something we did or did not do may have caused the team to lose the game.

No, that's baloney. If someone accused me of something this serious I'd hire a lawyer to do my talking for me, like Winston did, even if I knew I was 100% innocent. Police detectives are not your friends. If you walk into a police station without a lawyer there's a good chance you will find yourself in the same situation to the large number of Americans (mostly poor and not knowledgable on legal matters) who end up wrongly convicted of crimes. What Winston did is not only his constitutional right, it's the smart way of handling this matter.

Georgia coach Mark Richt said Conley (sprained ankle) and Lynch (ribs) have a chance to play this week.

No major injuries. Auburn has gotten whooped twice in a row by Georgia by a combined score of 83 to 7 (admittedly in down years), so I think they have something to prove to themselves in today's game.
