Just something to be wary of...

With the EE packaging, the rating sticker and Ultraviolet sticker come off easily, but the back card is attached with tape, and takes some of the colour off the cover with it. I didn't realise and I now have an ugly white mark on the front of the slipcase. Why they didn't just use gum, I have no idea.

that sucks. kinda like the universal 100th anniversary cards taped to the bottom. Ripped a hole in the bottom of the nice digibook for Atonement because of that. Can you just leave it on?

Oh you definitely can, doesn't get in the way at all. I realised too late, but it wouldn't ruin it if others left it on.

Just in case this might sway you one way or the other the edition with the Bilbo meets Gollum figure doesn't have any j-card taped to the set. No ratings logos, UV stickers or j-cards to deal with. Yes it's pricey but if you're leaning towards the 3D version with figure that might be yet another thing to consider...

I picked up The Extended 3D version 5 disc set from Amazon Uk for NZ$30 including postage. Very happy with this.
