Hope mine comes in tomorrow too. I had it sent to my job & tomorrow is my last day before the holiday. Although I may call the mailroom & if it comes in, I will be there.

FYI, if this doesn't work for region A players, I think Walmart will have the 2D version on sale for $6.96. Seriously considering braving the crowd for this one item

It was for $3.96, and a major error. The movie doesn't release until Tuesday Dec 3rd. That listing is more than likely for the Origins Wolverine blu-ray.

Bubble burster (sp).

That makes since though, didn't notice the conflicting release dates. Also, that Best Buy exclusive is looking sweet. I'm not sure if this one is worth a double dip of this amount of money, (steel book import & "digibook")but I'll lean towards that one is these disc aren't region free.

What I should do is invest in region free player.

Saved ya a trip amongst the rabid hordes and MAJOR disappointment, though.

I don't have any of the X steelbooks, and was considering leaping for this one. I may just get the Best Buy exclusive, but I really don't care as long as I can get the extended cut.

Definitely did, thanks. That's one of the reasons why I love this site.

This is my first X steel.

Those images with the sword are such false advertising... Wolverine practically never used the sword until the end of the film! Sorry to give away the plot!

I thought that, too -- but then I figured the image is more symbolic of him being a ronin.

Received mine - awesome condition; wish it were less gray and more white, but I like it.

As for the region compatibility - I think this has been mentioned: The 3D is BC only, the 2D is AB and the Extended is ABC (I think this is consistent with what is printed on the discs - you can tell if you zoom the pictures above). I can confirm that the 2D works in a Region A (Sony BDP-S390).

Anyone still waiting on their order from Amazon IT? This is my first time using Amazon IT, and it hasn't arrived. I'm getting nervous. Am I SOL if it never does arrive? Can't believe I dumped $44 bucks for a freaking steel.

Mine arrived in a crappy cardboard mailer and was bent. My Iron Man 3 from them was in the same boxes Amazon.co.uk use and was fine. I'll be requesting a refund for this.

Yep, that's where mine is bent. As I pulled it out of the mailer, I saw the spine had buckled. As I pulled it out of the cardboard envelope, I saw why....because the the whole thing was bent 2 inches up from the bottom. It's not as bad as how my Wreck it Ralph steelbook came but for $44 shipped, this is not something I will let slide. I'm presuming the discs are okay but I didn't buy this particular set for the discs. I got it for the collectable steelbook. I've emailed them but still waiting on a response.

Mine was shipped in the same cardboard envelope with no protection. Luckily it arrived unscathed. I hope they just ran out of the other box and this is not how they plan on shipping steelbooks in the future.

I ordered Iron Man 3 from Amazon.it and it arrived in the usual type of box, but with a spine slash. They shipped out a new one but wanted me to send the damaged one back. I had to pay the return postage and they said that they would reimburse me and to either include a postage receipt inside the package or have the amount clearly marked on the outside of the package. It was around $15.00. Since the cost was clear on the return postage label I didn't do anything else regarding the refund and they did refund the entire postage amount to me within 2 weeks. So it wasn't too much of a hassle, besides the language barrier. I know zero Italian so depended on Google to translate everything for me.

I had a replacement sent but have to send this one back Monday. Figured I would watch I before waiting another 15 days.

The 3D disc doesn't support Region A, apparently. The 2D discs do.
