I liked the X-Files. I'm looking forward to this. The trailer was a little hard to see but I'm sure a better version will be available soon.

As I recall, this is the start of a "new" trilogy. One will be in 2008, one in 2010, and the final one in 2012.

2012 has significant attribute in X-Files lore. It's the year the world ends.

Mulder learns that there is a government conspiracy by illegally entering Mount Weather Complex Facility and putting in a password and saw the "End Game" plan for evacuation of top level military and govt. officials to secure military installations. But why? Because of the Alien invasion to recolonize this planet and develop a slave race of super human worker of course. The date that this invasion and thus the end will begin? Dec 21, 2012.

They seem to be timing this new and final trilogy around this, which I think is brilliant.

It has the doctor from ID4. who was killed by the alien he was operating on. I am looking forward to this film. thanks for the link.

Not Brent Spiner. It looked like Billy Connely from Boondock Saints

Too much time has passed. The X-Files is no longer a hot commodity. Sigh, I really loved the series when it was in production. Even though I have the entire series on oldray DVD, I rarely pull it out. And when I do, I usually watch the first season.

did i just see brent spiner in it? the dude with long white hair just like in ID4?

I could be wrong. The resolution on this little preview wasn't that great. But I saw this blonde guy with glasses first thing i thought was he was in ID4. but then again i could be wrong.

cant believe u guys refer to Brent Spinner as "the guy in ID4" ..... U REALIZE HE'S 'DATA' RIGHT??? what a mockery to Star Trek :P

and no he's not in xfiles 2, its not noted in his IMDB page or in the xfiles 2 cast list
