The way ahead

In early May 2008, SCEE is hosting a press day in London to showcase a host of exciting new developments coming up this year for PLAYSTATION 3, PLAYSTATION Network, PSP and PlayStation 2.

As well as keynote speeches by SCEI President Kaz Hirai and SCEE President David Reeves, attendees will be able to get their hands on some of the hottest games coming to the PlayStation platforms over the coming year.

For full coverage, be sure to keep an eye on eu.playstation.com for updates from the event, including key announcements, hands on interviews and the latest screens and videos as they're released.

SCEE hosted something in Sony's 3Rooms last year, I expect this one will be bigger though, so probably somewhere like the Connaught Rooms conference centre will probably be a good candidate. I doubt they could fill Earl's Court so it won't be there.

On 06 May 2008, SCEE will reveal a host of exciting content coming to PlayStation during the coming year. You'll be able to keep up-to-date with all of the news from the event over at PlayStation.com:

To mark the event, PLAYSTATION Store on PS3 will carry two updates instead of the usual one. Look out for great demos, including PS3 exclusive Haze, as well as a host of game trailers, expansion packs and videos of the press conference which will include a keynote speech by Kaz Hirai, President of Sony Computer Entertainment Inc.

Early or real late depending on how you look at it. I hope that demo is gold, because it has completely flew off my radar. With me playing GTA4 and Metal Gear around the corner, I might skip it.
