Interesting analysis of the schedules of teams that have made the title game during the BCS era in the link. If Ohio State makes the title game, they will have had the 2nd easiest schedule in the 16-year history of the BCS, and if Florida State makes it they'll have had the 3rd easiest schedule, both having tougher schedules than only the 2010 Oregon team.

I guess it goes to show SOS is over rated as hell. A tough schedule equals a loss or two. When the goal is to be in the top 4 in think early tough OOC games will go away.

I wish the ACC would find a better place to host the ACCCG. I like where the SEC and the Big 10 has theirs.

Well, the ACC can't just kick the SEC out of Atlanta....

I'm not saying kick anybody out, I'm saying find a better location. I even like how the Pac 12 does theirs, who ever has the best record host the game.

Yeah, but they don't want to run the risk of the game being in NY or Boston during early winter.

Charlotte is kind of the center of the ACC. People in the area actually care about the ACC. It didn't work in FL and it's where it should be, just like the BBall tourney should be.

Beating Alabama (and some other teams) did wonders for Malzahn...

I guess we don't have to worry about Northern Illinois sneaking their way into a BCS bowl this season, as they got their @sses handed to them by Bowling Green today. Beautiful.

Yeah, Northern Illinois had no business being in a BCS bowl. This isn't like a few years ago when TCU and Boise State made it as mid majors, they were actually really good football teams. Northern Illinois would have gotten beat like a red headed step child.

Groan. With Oklahoma State's loss, Texas can earn their way in to a BCS bowl by beating Baylor.

I'd rather see NIU or Fresno St. than Texas in there.
