A bit off topic, but actually, multithreading isn't a Cell strong point at all.

You need general purpose processors for that, of which the cell only has one.

This is part of the reason why the PS3 is so hard to develop for, you have to find a new technique. The other processors are just SIMD (single instruction, multiple data) processors, which don't conform well to multi threading.
