Whow! That is actually more expensive than here in Norway...that is pretty damn impressive in a bad way!

Yes, it's ridiculous.
And how about (the equivalent of..) :
$9 for a bottle of beer
$6 for a coffee
$7+ for a gallon of gas
$1600/month for childcare for 1 child
$1.60 for a can of Coke
