Subwoofer cable suggestion?

before i (or anyone else) suggest some place else, is there a reason you need to get it from amazon, i.e., you have gift cards or money on account at amazon, etc.?

I'm trying to get it by Friday and I have prime. I usually get from Monoprice, but I get my sub on Thursday and kind of what to use it quick!

Would any cable work or is there something special I need? (new at this lol)
Does the length matter because I only need right now 6ft but wouldnt mind getting bigger in case I move.

Pretty much any cable there with the exception of Monster Cable, as you'd be overpaying for a cable based on name brand only. Personally, I wouldn't pay any more than what monoprice charges. I saw a few there for under $10 that seemed pretty decent.

As far as length, I saw a few 8 ft cables that would work for you. Having longer cable than you need won't affect the sound quality at all, but you'll have to contend with a longer cable to hide if you get it too long (i.e. 25 ft.)

Overpriced is an understatement. I don't even know if they have invented a word for what their doing.

You could always just use a basic 75ohm video cable to get you by until you're ready to get your monoprice one.

I would get the BJC http://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B00597...&pi=SY200_QL60, there are great and flexable, ive had the Mediabridge in the past, and they are good for the price, but ive gotton a couple that didnt work, and there a little stiff.

You know those red, white and yellow cables that come with just about every video player you buy? Well it turns out the yellow video cable acts just like a "subwoofer" cable. Its a basic analog signal. Of course the quality of those pre packaged cables are garbage. I'd just wait until you get your new cable tomorrow.

I'm a bit late to the party with a suggestion as you say you have already ordered one but for others reading who may want another option, BJC sell the Canare LV-77S cable which is more than sufficient.
